The average salary in Ukraine in February 2026 increased by 1.2% compared to January, reaching 28,321 UAH, according to the State Statistics Service of Ukraine.
The highest salaries were recorded in Kyiv and Kyiv region, with average incomes of 45,651 UAH and 29,077 UAH respectively.
The lowest earnings were in Kirovohrad and Chernivtsi regions, at around 20,000 UAH.
Among professional sectors, the highest salaries are received by workers in information technology (IT) and telecommunications, averaging 78,941 UAH, while the lowest are in arts, sports, and entertainment, with an average of 18,681 UAH.
Outstanding wage arrears as of 1 March amounted to 3.5 million UAH.
