The Ministry of Health has announced the formation of the personal composition of the Board for the Reconstruction of the National Children’s Specialized Hospital “Okhmatdyt.” The initial eight members of the Board, chosen in the first stage, have been supplemented by an additional seven participants.
According to the conditions of the second stage of the selection process, applications for participation in the Board could be submitted by representatives of public associations, their unions, charitable organizations operating in the fields of anti-corruption, patient rights protection, healthcare development, professional associations of healthcare workers, or in the fields of architecture and urban planning. The selection was conducted through a ranking vote.
The personal composition of the Reconstruction Board has now been fully established and approved by Ministry of Health orders.
The Board for overseeing the reconstruction of the damaged or destroyed buildings of the National Children’s Specialized Hospital “Okhmatdyt” consists of 15 members:
- Sille Yako, UNDP Ukraine Resident Representative.
- Igor Katsitadze, Health Specialist at UNICEF Ukraine.
- Donatas Butkus, Counselor at the Embassy of Lithuania in Ukraine.
- Volodymyr Kudrytsky, Chairman of the Board at NPC Ukrenergo.
- Nazar Kupyida, Board Member and Vice President of Finance at OKKO.
- Yulia Vysotska, Director at PRACTICA Scientific and Production Association.
- Yevhen Gonchar, Head of Policy Formation in the Medical Guarantees and Medical Services Department, Ministry of Health.
- Olena Larina, Leading Specialist in Internal Control at Okhmatdyt.
- Vyacheslav Bykov, Board Member and Executive Director at Tabletki.
- Oleksandr Sushko, Executive Director at the International Renaissance Foundation.
- Inna Ivanenko, Executive Director at Patients of Ukraine.
- Taras Lylyk, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors for Expert Organization Activities at the Confederation of Builders of Ukraine.
- Svitlana Reva, Vice President at the Intergovernmental Guild of Consulting Engineers.
- Marina Mamenko, Chair of the Board at UAPS – Ukrainian Academy of Pediatric Specialties.
- Natalia Onipko, President and Founder of the Zaporuka Charitable Foundation.
The first meeting of the full Board will take place on August 20, where participants will review the phased reconstruction plan for Okhmatdyt and provide recommendations for its implementation.
