PrivatBank is launching an Inclusive Service to support military personnel and veterans directly at their treatment facilities. Over 140 bank employees underwent specialized training in March. The training focused on the principles of trauma-informed communication and understanding the specific needs of defenders undergoing rehabilitation. The project is being implemented with the support of experts from the non-governmental organization “ReStart,” which specializes in the reintegration of veterans.

The new service format involves bank specialists visiting medical facilities, rehabilitation centers, and care facilities. Service members will be able to resolve financial matters without having to visit a branch. Specialists will assist with opening accounts, issuing or reissuing cards, as well as verifying and updating customer information. This approach makes basic banking services accessible during the recovery process.

The training program covered the specifics of strategic thinking and communication skills in crisis situations. Bank employees studied the social benefits system in detail so they could advise not only veterans but also their family members. Practical case studies helped staff master the tools that make interactions with veterans as comfortable and professional as possible. Expanding the inclusive network allows the bank to respond more quickly to veterans’ requests at local government offices and hospitals across the country.
