In Ukraine, parking violation fines can now be viewed online. Information about inspectors’ decisions and the status of their payment is available in the Driver’s Electronic Cabinet and in the Diia app, said Ukraine’s Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko.
Previously, digital services only displayed traffic fines recorded automatically or issued by the patrol police.
According to the minister, this meant drivers did not always receive timely information about parking inspectors’ decisions and could miss payment deadlines.
The necessary technical updates and service configurations were carried out by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine together with representatives of local communities and specialists from the state enterprise “Infotech”.
At present, the service operates in Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, Lviv, Dnipro, Drohobych, Bila Tserkva and Vinnytsia. The list of cities is expected to expand further.
