The Ukrainian Institute, in partnership with the Cannes Film Market (Marché du Film), has opened applications for participation in the international Cannes Docs 2026 programme. The initiative is aimed at supporting projects in creative documentary filmmaking and promoting them on the global film market.
One feature-length creative documentary project at the production or rough cut stage will be selected for the Spotlighted Projects section.
The winner will be chosen by representatives of Cannes Docs within the Marché du Film and the Cannes Film Festival.
The team of the winning project will receive accreditation to the Cannes Film Market (Marché du Film), access to networking programmes and professional Cannes Docs workshops, as well as the opportunity to take part in an exclusive pitching session alongside other Spotlighted Projects participants.
In addition, partial reimbursement of travel and accommodation expenses is provided for.
Applications will be accepted via the provided link until 24 March at 23:59 Kyiv time.
