At the Kyiv Zoo, a muntjac named Mo has recovered after being injured by a blast wave caused by a Russian attack in November 2025.
The animal underwent treatment and has now fully recovered. The muntjac’s broken jaw has healed, and it has returned to its normal diet, actively eating fresh grass and green branches.






In addition, another event has taken place in the muntjac family – Mo and his “partner” Milu have welcomed a newborn.
The family can now be seen in a natural enclosure within the zoo, in the hoofed animals area near the “Desert” pavilion.
