A 15-year-old girl was killed during Russia’s night-time attack on several regions of Ukraine

On the night of 12 March, Russian drones attacked several regions of Ukraine. The strikes left people dead and injured, and caused damage to residential buildings and infrastructure. Units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine were deployed to deal with the aftermath.

In the Chernihiv region, in the Koriukivka district, a residential house and an outbuilding caught fire after the fall of an enemy drone. Firefighters from the State Emergency Service extinguished the blaze.

During the clearing of the rubble, it became known that a girl born in 2010 had been killed. Her parents were injured and taken to hospital.

Psychologists from the State Emergency Service provided assistance to six people who were at the scene.

In the Kharkiv region, Russian drone strikes were recorded in the Zolochiv, Malynivka, and Velykoburlutsk communities, as well as in Kharkiv. The strikes caused fires and damaged private homes and infrastructure.

A 39-year-old woman was injured. While extinguishing the fires, rescuers were hit twice by repeated strikes. The shock wave damaged a fire tanker, but no personnel were injured.

In the Dnipropetrovsk region, Nikopol and the Marganetsk community came under fire. Damage to businesses and multi-storey buildings was reported.

In the Synelnykivskyi district, a man and a woman were injured as a result of the attack. Medical personnel hospitalised them. Fires broke out in a private residential building and a farm building, which were also extinguished.
