Ukrainian researchers can receive a scholarship from New Europe College and the Center for Advanced Studies in Sofia to conduct research abroad.
The programme is designed for 5 or 10 months, from October 2026 to March 2027, in Bucharest or Sofia.
Participants will receive:
- a monthly scholarship of €1,000;
- free accommodation and coverage of round-trip travel;
- access to the institute’s library and electronic resources;
- the opportunity to attend seminars, academic events, and build professional networks.
Scholars will also be able to publish their research articles on the institutes’ platforms.
The programme is open to Ukrainian researchers with a PhD in the humanities or social sciences and a good command of English.
