In Ukraine, business owners now have the opportunity to officially record war-related losses if their operations were suspended after 24 February 2022. Applications are submitted to the International Damage Registry under category A3.5, “Loss of Private Enterprise.”

This includes cases where a business ceased operations due to:

  • hostilities;
  • occupation;
  • damage to premises or equipment;
  • the owner joining the Defence Forces;
  • forced relocation within Ukraine or abroad.

Each recorded loss serves as evidence of Russian aggression and forms the basis for future compensation.

Applications can be submitted through the Diia app.

The service is implemented by the Ministry of Digital Transformation and the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine.
