The Coordination Headquarters for Evacuation Measures has decided on the forced evacuation of 46 children, together with their parents or legal guardians, from four settlements in the Stanislav and Kherson communities.
According to Oleksiy Riabykin, Deputy Minister for Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine, the decision was made due to the difficult security situation in these regions.
Some families plan to relocate to safer areas within the Kherson community, as well as to Mykolaiv and Odesa.
It is also reported that there are preliminary arrangements for the possible accommodation of evacuees in Kryvyi Rih, as well as in the Poltava, Kirovohrad, Volyn, Vinnytsia, and Odesa regions.
Since 1 June 2025, more than 178,000 people have been evacuated from frontline areas of Ukraine, including over 23,000 children and more than 6,000 people with reduced mobility.
In Ukraine, 14 transit centres are operating to support evacuees, providing humanitarian, medical, psychological, legal, and social assistance, as well as helping to restore documents and process social benefits.
