The Ukrainian Red Cross has provided Ukrzaliznytsia with 50 collective first aid kits to equip recovery trains.

These trains are used to deal with the aftermath of heavy shelling and other emergencies.

Each first aid kit is designed to provide first aid to up to 50 people, so the 50 kits donated will help up to 2,500 victims in the first critical minutes.

Ukrzaliznytsia has unique experience of working in conditions of full-scale war and constant attacks, and it is important for us to join forces to ensure that aid is delivered quickly to where it is most needed.

Ukrzaliznytsia’s recovery trains operate in combat zones or immediately after shelling, ensuring a rapid response to infrastructure damage and providing assistance to people.
