In 2025, the “Reboot: Expanding Employment Opportunities” programme, implemented by the Ukrainian Red Cross, provided microgrants to 535 participants to start or develop their own microbusinesses.
Entrepreneurs from 10 regions of Ukraine received support. Most of them were participants from the Mykolaiv, Cherkasy, Poltava, Lviv and Vinnytsia regions.
Most often, the funds were directed towards the development of goods production, repair services, the beauty industry and small catering establishments.
The grants helped entrepreneurs purchase the necessary equipment, ranging from sewing and welding machines to equipment for bakeries, agriculture, and beekeeping.
The total amount of support amounted to over UAH 65.8 million.
For many participants, microgrants became an opportunity to restart their businesses and return to a stable life.
The Ukrainian Red Cross noted that a new phase of the programme will begin in March 2026.
