The government will pay UAH 6,500 to everyone who did not receive “Winter Support” in 2025

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has adopted a resolution regulating the payment of the one-time financial aid “Winter Support” in 2026. The payment of UAH 6,500 will be provided to citizens who were entitled to it in 2025 but did not receive it due to the end of the budget year.

So far, UAH 2.43 billion has been paid to 374,000 recipients, and the remaining citizens who have not yet received the aid will get it in the near future.

Those who submitted applications on time and have confirmed entitlement through the Pension Fund of Ukraine will receive the full amount soon. The government’s decision will ensure comprehensive support for vulnerable segments of the population.

To cover the remaining payments, UAH 329,686.5 thousand is required, which will allow UAH 6,500 to be provided to 50,721 citizens. Overall, all 410,000 Ukrainians entitled to the aid will receive it.

The right to receive UAH 6,500 applies to the most vulnerable groups of the population, including children under guardianship or care, children with disabilities in family-type orphanages and foster families, children from low-income families, people with group I disabilities among internally displaced persons (IDPs), and single pensioners.
