Oschadbank JSC is opening special accounts for receiving new “child” benefits, in particular, assistance until the child reaches one year of age and “eYasla” payments.
Such payments are credited to current accounts with a special usage regime at an authorised bank.
The first accounts have already been opened at the request of the Pension Fund of Ukraine for recipients who have submitted applications since the beginning of 2026. Funding is provided by the Pension Fund.
Recipients who have received notification of the opening of an account will receive a separate notification after the funds have been credited and can apply to a bank branch for a payment card, bringing only their passport and identification code.
Other banks are expected to join the process in the future, which should facilitate access to payments for families with children.
Applications for child benefits can be submitted through the Pension Fund of Ukraine, administrative service centres, or authorised representatives of local communities.
It is noted that the Ministry of Social Policy, Family, and Unity, together with the Ministry of Digital Transformation, is also working on the possibility of submitting applications through the Diia app.
