A phased restoration of electric public transport has begun on the left bank of Kyiv. The improvement in the capital’s energy system made this possible, the Kyiv City State Administration reported.
On 3 March, services partially resumed:
- trams No. 4, 5, 22, 23, 27, 28, 29, 32, 33 and 35;
- trolleybuses No. 29, 30, 31, 37 (with route changes), 43, 47, 50 and 50-K.
Replacement bus services will continue operating on these routes today.
According to the city administration, provided there is no new damage to energy infrastructure, electric transport on the left bank is expected to operate as usual and according to the planned schedule from 4 March.
Replacement bus routes are set to be cancelled.
