In February 2026, rescuers from the Phoenix evacuation group evacuated 166 residents from frontline communities in the Donetsk region. The State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported this.
Among those evacuated were 47 people with limited mobility and 11 children. Evacuation efforts in the Donetsk region continue due to ongoing shelling and the difficult security situation in the area.
Rescuers accompany residents at every stage of the evacuation, assisting with transportation, documentation and immediate needs. Particular attention is given to elderly people, persons with disabilities and families with children.
The State Emergency Service noted that evacuation from frontline communities in the Donetsk region remains one of the key areas of work for rescue services.
