Ukraine has begun distributing additional state payments to members of emergency repair teams who, in January 2026, dealt with the aftermath of Russian shelling and restored damaged infrastructure. More than 4,700 workers have already started receiving UAH 20,000 each.

The payments apply to employees of Ukrainian Railways, as well as workers from heating and water supply utilities who operated in freezing temperatures, under shelling and on round-the-clock shifts. They restored electricity, heating, water supply and transport connections.

These payments are a sign of our gratitude and a concrete step in supporting your daily dedicated work.
