A new mobile medical team from the Ukrainian Red Cross has begun work in the Donetsk region

Since February, a new mobile medical team of the Ukrainian Red Cross has been operating in Donetsk region. The team provides primary healthcare to residents of remote settlements where access to medical services is limited due to the security situation and logistical challenges.

Medical workers serve the villages of Petrivka Druha, Novopoltavka, Zoloti Prudy, Oleksandrivka, Dmytrokolyne and Novooleksandrivka.

Specialists carry out regular visits to towns and villages in the community, offering medical consultations, basic examinations, monitoring of chronic conditions and supplying patients with essential medicines.

The mobile medical team of the Ukrainian Red Cross is intended to strengthen the primary healthcare system in the frontline region and ensure residents receive timely support.

The initiative in the region is implemented with the support of the Austrian Red Cross. This cooperation enables the team to operate steadily and maintain the necessary resources for its work.
