In today’s economy, especially during and after crises such as pandemics or military conflicts, there is often a need to change professional activities. If you have lost your job or want to acquire a new specialization, a government program implemented through Employment Centers might be your lifeline. This program provides the opportunity to receive free training for new professions through a voucher.
What is a voucher?
A voucher is a special document that allows you to undergo free training in one of the 123 professions listed in the available list of specialties. It is also beneficial for employers as they receive qualified personnel without additional costs.
How to obtain a voucher?
To obtain a training voucher, you need to apply on the State Employment Service website. Before this, it is important to check if you are eligible for it
Eligibility for a voucher includes:
- Individuals over 45 years old with at least 15 years of insurance experience who have not yet reached retirement age.
- Individuals discharged from military service.
- Veterans and combatants.
- Internally displaced persons of working age who are unemployed.
- Persons with disabilities who are not employed.
- Individuals deprived of personal freedom due to armed aggression against Ukraine and later released.
- Persons who have sustained injuries, concussions, disabilities, or illnesses as a result of military aggression during the state of war in Ukraine.
To apply for a voucher, you must:
- Have vocational, pre-higher, or higher education.
- Not be registered as unemployed with the Employment Service.

To obtain a voucher, you need to contact the Employment Center at your place of residence. The center’s staff will provide you with all the necessary information and assist you in submitting your application. This program is designed to support those who find themselves in difficult situations and help them find a new career path.
