The Ukrainian Red Cross Society has provided assistance to nearly 13 million people across the country since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
This includes humanitarian aid packages, cash assistance, housing repairs, support for medical facilities, psychosocial services, and emergency response following shelling and destruction.
The organisation’s network comprises around 200 local branches, 5,000 staff members and nearly 10,000 volunteers.
Between 2022 and 2025, 17 support programmes were implemented with a total budget of UAH 553.4 million.
More than 625,000 people were informed about mine risks, while over 1.16 million received psychosocial support.
In addition, three modular settlements for internally displaced persons were constructed, more than 50 shelters were renovated, and 10,000 square metres of damaged windows were restored.
Strengthening community resilience has also become a key area of work, including first aid training, emergency preparedness and support for local initiatives.
