Diplomas of higher education will include the option to indicate full-time dual education as a form of study. This was reported by the Deputy Minister of Education and Science, Mykola Trofymenko, according to Suspilne Kharkiv.

According to Trofymenko, Ukrainian legislation already provides all the necessary conditions for obtaining dual education. The next step involves technical amendments to the Unified State Electronic Database on Education.

The system is expected to introduce a separate module where full-time dual education will be recorded. This information will appear in a student’s profile and be reflected in the diploma.

Trofymenko noted that updating the database will make it possible to officially account for students studying under the dual education model and will increase transparency. The development and integration of the changes are planned to be completed by the summer.

Dual education combines academic study at a higher education institution with practical training at enterprises or in business. This format enables students to acquire professional skills alongside their theoretical learning.
