The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine has launched a nationwide survey of researchers, the results of which will form the basis for a series of “White Papers” – strategic documents containing recommendations for preserving and restoring Ukraine’s scientific sector.

The research is being conducted by the Science at Risk project team in cooperation with a group of analysts. The initiative aims to develop systematic solutions to support the country’s scientific potential during the war and throughout post-war reconstruction.

The survey is available online via a dedicated link, and members of the academic community from across Ukraine and abroad are invited to take part.

The collected responses will help document the current state of Ukrainian science, identify key challenges faced by researchers, outline the priority needs of the scientific community, and develop practical proposals for public policy and international support.

All data will be used in aggregated form, and the survey is anonymous.

The analytical materials and “White Papers” are scheduled to be published in spring 2026 on the platform scienceatrisk.org.
