The Ukrainian Red Cross donated 2,500 marking signs and 35,000 metres of tape to the State Emergency Service of Chernihiv region

The special-purpose emergency rescue unit of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Chernihiv region has received 2,500 marking signs and 35,000 metres of marking tape to designate potentially hazardous areas.

The assistance was provided by the Department of Civil Protection and Civil-Military Cooperation of the Ukrainian Red Cross and the Chernihiv Regional Organisation of the Ukrainian Red Cross, with the support of the Italian Red Cross.

The supplied materials will be used to mark potentially hazardous areas in communities across the Chernihiv region.

The Ukrainian Red Cross stated that this will enable residents to receive timely information about potential risks, avoid dangerous areas and reduce the likelihood of injury.
