Ukraine has opened registration for free surgery for military personnel and civilians with facial injuries as part of the Face the Future Ukraine mission

Patient registration has opened in Ukraine for the seventh medical mission of Face the Future Ukraine. As part of the humanitarian initiative, service members and civilians with facial injuries will be able to undergo free reconstructive surgery to restore their appearance and functions affected by trauma.

A team of surgeons from Face The Future Foundation in Canada and the United States will travel to Ukraine. In cooperation with Ukrainian doctors from Still Strong, the specialists have already performed 188 operations on patients with complex facial injuries, including nasal reconstruction, skull bone restoration and treatment of eye injuries.

The mission is scheduled to take place in May 2026 in Ivano-Frankivsk. All surgical procedures will be provided free of charge.

After completing the registration form, patients will be contacted by the mission’s doctors to clarify medical details and proceed with the selection process.

The humanitarian programme is implemented in partnership with Face The Future Foundation, Razom for Ukraine, Still Strong and Пацієнти України.
