More than 1,000 people who evacuated from frontline communities in the Zaporizhzhia region have received financial assistance from the Ukrainian Red Cross.
Registration for the payments was carried out from 14 to 29 January 2026 at the transit centre in Zaporizhzhia.
During this period, assistance was provided to 600 households, covering 1,071 individuals. The total amount of payments reached UAH 11,566,800.




The financial assistance helps cover urgent needs during evacuation and adaptation in a new place of residence, including:
- accommodation costs;
- food supplies;
- medicines;
- essential items.
The project is implemented with the support of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.
