The Ukrainian Red Cross provides basic medical care to residents of 46 villages on the right bank of the Kherson region with the help of a mobile pharmacy.
A specially equipped vehicle from the Mykolaiv regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross visits the villages once every two weeks. The vehicle is equipped with refrigerators for storing medicines, which allows the proper temperature to be maintained.
Residents can obtain the necessary medicines, have their blood pressure measured and consult on their health.

Medical professionals also pay special attention to supporting elderly people, providing seasonal medications, and implementing the “Affordable Medicines” programme.
As for medicines, this is a basic range, firstly, and secondly, it is seasonal, i.e. there are more colds in winter, so we take more medicines for colds. We work with the “Affordable Medicines” programme.
– said pharmacist Yulia Vasyutina in a comment to “Suspilne Kherson”.
The route is adjusted taking into account the security situation in the region.
The format of such a mobile pharmacy allows maintaining medical infrastructure in settlements where stationary pharmacies are absent or operate on a limited basis.
