Kyiv region received humanitarian aid for emergency response from the Ukrainian Red Cross

The Kyiv Regional Organisation of the Ukrainian Red Cross has delivered humanitarian aid to the Kyiv Regional State Administration for emergency response.

The aid includes:

  • 120 emergency response kits;
  • 400 flashlights;
  • 40 portable charging stations;
  • 40 compact gas heaters;
  • 40 universal batteries;
  • 40 carbon monoxide detectors;
  • 40 tabletop gas stoves.

The equipment and essential supplies will be used in the event of power outages, lack of heat supply or other emergency situations.

Each emergency response kit includes basic essentials, such as:

  • crockery and cutlery;
  • glasses;
  • candles;
  • matches;
  • torch with batteries;
  • disinfectant wipes;
  • disposable showers;
  • dry shampoo;
  • paper towels;
  • toilet paper;
  • garbage bags;
  • thermal blankets.

The humanitarian aid provided is intended to strengthen the readiness of the Resilience Centres in the Kyiv region to receive people in case of emergencies.
