A chatbot has been created in the Rakuten Viber application for users of the Vector state educational platform, which will help teachers, educational institutions, and professional development providers to quickly understand the platform’s functionality and get answers to the most common questions. This was reported by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

The chatbot was developed with funding from Rakuten Viber in collaboration with SOFTSERVE-MT as part of the implementation of the state policy ‘Money follows the teacher,’ which provides for an updated model of financing professional development for teachers.

The bot is structured into sections tailored to different categories of users:

  • teachers can find instructions on how to register on Vector, participate in pilot projects, complete the 360 Assessment, and use virtual funds;
  • educational institutions can find explanations on issues related to the verification of teaching staff;
  • and professional development providers can find information on submitting and reviewing educational programmes.

The platform also plans to integrate an AI assistant into the chatbot, which will help with individual questions in the future if no ready answers can be found in the available sections.

You can join the chatbot via the Vector platform.
