Medical facilities in Ukraine have received new modern equipment for providing emergency and resuscitation medical care as part of the Ukrainian-French partnership.
According to the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, 149 hospitals and emergency medical centers in various regions of the country received the equipment.
Medical facilities received 400 defibrillator monitors and 300 mechanical cardiopulmonary resuscitation systems, which allow doctors to monitor patients’ vital signs and respond quickly to critical conditions, including heart attacks, severe injuries, and other critical situations.
The equipment is used in emergency rooms and resuscitation wards, intensive care units, and by emergency medical teams.
The initiative also provides training for medical personnel and full technical support for the equipment throughout its entire period of use.
The project is being implemented by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine with the support of the Government of the French Republic. The total budget for the initiative is €5.87 million.
