Key points:

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has included six historic castles in Zakarpattia Oblast in the State Register of Immovable Monuments of National Importance. This was reported by the Ministry of Culture.
This decision was adopted by Resolution No. 1666, developed by the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine.
The following were included in the State Register:
- Kvasiv Castle – 12th-13th centuries (Kvasiv village);
- Nyalab Castle – 13th century (Korolevo village);
- Sevlyush Castle – 13th-15th centuries (Vinogradiv);
- Shenborn Palace (Beregvar Castle) – late 19th century (Karpaty village);
- Saint Miklos Castle – 14th-15th centuries (Chynadiyovo village);
- Serednyanska Fortress – 13th century (Serednye village).
It is expected that the Government’s decision will not only legally confirm the status of these objects as monuments of national importance, but also contribute to their preservation and popularization.
