The BGV Charity Fund, in collaboration with the German non-profit organization #WeAreAllUkrainians, is launching a regional humanitarian response project in Ukraine. The organizational support for the BGV Fund’s activities within this project is provided by the Secretariat of the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights. Regional Ombudsman Office staff will assist families with registration and application submissions for the project.
A total of 1,200 backpacks will be distributed. Each backpack contains 35 items necessary for a child’s daily needs. To learn more about the contents of the backpack and all project conditions, please visit: BGV Charity Fund – Backpack for a First Grader
Assistance will be provided to internally displaced children who are entering the first grade and belong to socially vulnerable categories, including:
- Children with disabilities
- Children from large families
- Children from low-income families
- Orphans
- Children deprived of parental care
The project will be implemented in the following regions: Zhytomyr, Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Poltava, Rivne, Khmelnytskyi, Cherkasy, and Vinnytsia.
