Key points

  • Ukrainians will be able to search for jobs through the digital services Diia and Administrative Services Centre.
  • The integration of the Obriy system with Diia will ensure instant data exchange and access to job vacancies online.
  • The Administrative Service Centres will provide assistance with registering unemployed persons, applying for benefits and other documents for job seekers.
  • The project aims to simplify employment and reduce bureaucratic barriers.

The government has launched a new pilot project that will allow Ukrainians to search for jobs and find employment through the digital services Diia and Administrative Service Centres (ASC). The project will start with the gradual introduction of services over two years and aims to make the job search process accessible without visits to government agencies.

In the first stage, technical specialists will integrate the Obriy digital platform with the Diia portal and application. After that, Ukrainians, foreigners and businesses will be able to view job vacancies, submit CVs, receive offers from employers and conduct interviews online. To this end, the system will exchange data instantly and without errors, ensuring that applications, vacancies and documents are displayed correctly.

The next phase involves launching these services in Administrative Service Centres. Citizens will be able to contact administrators to register, obtain or update their unemployment status, apply for unemployment benefits, and obtain certificates of registration and accrued payments. The ASCs will also offer services for processing business documents, including work permits for foreigners, as well as applications for other assistance, including grants or payments to victims of emergencies.

The authorities note that the digitisation of job searches will allow Ukrainians to spend less time on bureaucracy and find vacancies faster, as well as create conditions for training personnel needed by the country’s economy. The pilot project is being implemented with the support of the Ministry of Digital Transformation and the Ministry of Economy, taking into account modern digital capabilities and labour market needs.
