Kirkland Scholarship has opened competitions for candidates to study and conduct research in Poland

Poland has begun accepting applications for the prestigious Lane Kirkland Scholarship Program, which supports young leaders, researchers, and professionals from Eastern Europe, the South Caucasus, and Central Asia. Under the terms of the competition, participants can study for two semesters at leading Polish universities or conduct research under the guidance of Polish academic mentors.

The Lane Kirkland Scholarship programme provides free access to courses at prestigious universities in Warsaw, Krakow, Wroclaw and Lublin, professional internships in public and private institutions, and accompanying training. Participants also receive a scholarship and support throughout their stay in Poland, including accommodation and medical insurance.

A separate line is the Kirkland Research Programme, a programme for candidates with a PhD degree, which provides short-term research internships with financial support and access to academic infrastructure.

Candidates participating in the competition must meet certain criteria, including higher education, professional experience, and a desire to apply the knowledge gained in their countries after completing the programme. Applications are accepted until 1 March 2026.
