From now on, the 112 service will process reports of lack of heat, water and electricity supply. This was announced by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Ihor Klymenko.

Additional operators have been brought in to quickly process not only calls to emergency services, but also information about critical situations in citizens’ homes.

Operators will transmit data to the headquarters for the elimination of the consequences of shelling of energy facilities and the TEB and NS commission, which will allow for urgent assistance to be organised.

They will also provide information about the nearest points of resilience, places to warm up and, if necessary, direct emergency service crews.

You can call 112 even if you do not have mobile coverage by connecting to Wi-Fi at safe havens, shopping centres or medical facilities and using the 112 Ukraine app.
