The Ministry of Education and Science has set the dates for the national multi-subject test (NMT) for admission to higher education institutions in Ukraine.
The main testing session will take place from 20 May to 25 June 2026, and the additional session from 17 to 24 July 2026.
Applicants will take tests in four subjects. Three of them – Ukrainian language, mathematics, and Ukrainian history – are mandatory for everyone.
Applicants will choose the fourth subject themselves from a list that includes:
- Ukrainian literature;
- geography;
- biology;
- chemistry;
- physics;
- foreign languages (English, German, French, Spanish).
The exam format consists of two 120-minute blocks: first, participants complete tasks in Ukrainian language and mathematics, and after a 20-minute break, they complete tasks in Ukrainian history and a subject.
