The State Employment Service offers a financial incentive mechanism for employers who hire combatants among registered unemployed persons. This was reported by the Donetsk Regional State Administration.
If a veteran has been registered with the employment centre for more than a month, the employer can receive compensation of up to 50% of the actual labour costs, but not more than 8,647 UAH per month.
Payments are made for each odd month from the date of employment for a maximum of 6 months per year.
For those veterans who do not have the necessary qualifications, the employment service organises training, retraining or advanced training, which allows the needs of the business to be matched with the capabilities of the employees.
