The public organisation Wikimedia Ukraine has published a ranking of the most popular articles on the Ukrainian Wikipedia for 2025. The article “Ukraine” received the most views, with over 756,000 visits, making it the leader among materials dedicated to the state and social issues.

Articles about Kyiv remained popular, garnering over 502,000 views during the year, as did articles about politicians and historical figures. Among them were articles about Andriy Parubiy with over 500,000 views, Taras Shevchenko with over 441,000 views, as well as pages dedicated to contemporary public figures.

Among the most frequently viewed biographies was an article about Ukrainian singer Stepan Higa, which was viewed more than 361,000 times during the year, securing it a place in the top ten.

Interest in art and media culture also grew on Ukrainian Wikipedia: an article about the Ukrainian film “You Are the Cosmos” with over 145,000 views entered the list of the most popular in the category of films and TV series.

Among the 10 most popular articles in 2025 are also:

Users actively searched for information on topics related to the body and relationships – a separate article on sex was among the most popular general publications, garnering over 310,000 views.

Articles about the Russian-Ukrainian war and the Armed Forces of Ukraine also remained among the most read, indicating users’ continued interest in events related to the security situation in the country.
