In the Odesa region, the Ukrainian Red Cross rapid response team worked on site to deal with the aftermath of the night-time shelling, together with the emergency services.
Volunteers provided first aid to the victims, evacuated a person from a blocked flat and handed them over to the ambulance crew.
According to data from the DSNS, five people were injured as a result of the attack. The facades and windows of apartment buildings and a kindergarten, as well as garages and cars, were damaged. A fire broke out in the premises of a lyceum, a fitness centre and a new building, where rescue services were working to extinguish the fires.
