On the night of 13 January, Russia carried out a massive bombardment of Ukraine. According to preliminary data, four people were killed and others were wounded in Kharkiv. The energy and civil infrastructure of Kyiv and the surrounding region, as well as Kharkiv, Odesa, Dnipropetrovsk, and Zaporizhzhia regions, were targeted. This was reported by Ukrainian Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets.

Among the damaged facilities are residential buildings, a hospital, a kindergarten, and a school. As a result of the attacks, civilians were left without power and basic living conditions.

Rescue services continue to deal with the aftermath of the strikes, restore power supplies and provide assistance to those affected.

Local authorities are urging residents to follow safety rules and monitor official announcements.
