Mobile emergency centres operated throughout the night of 13 January in Kyiv. Even during periods when electricity was restored to residents’ homes, the centres remained open for people who might need help, warmth or the opportunity to recharge their mobile devices. This was reported by the DSNS.
Rescuers and relevant services were on duty around the clock to ensure that Kyiv residents had access to basic support regardless of the time of day or changes in the power system.
The work of the centres was primarily aimed at ensuring the safety and comfort of city residents in the event of sudden power outages or deteriorating weather conditions.
