Ukrainians concluded their participation in the Paris 2024 Olympics with 12 medals (3 gold, 5 silver, 4 bronze). Our team ranked 22nd in the overall medal standings and 17th in the number of medals won, according to the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
At the 2024 Summer Games, Ukraine was represented by 140 athletes across 23 sports.
Our Olympic champions and medalists:
Gold: Yaroslava Mahuchikh (athletics, high jump), Oleksandr Khyzhniak (boxing, 80 kg), Ukrainian women’s sabre fencing team (Olga Kharlan, Alina Komashchuk, Olena Kravatska, Yulia Bakastova).
Silver: Serhiy Kulish (shooting, small-bore rifle, three positions), Illia Kovtun (gymnastics, parallel bars), Lyudmila Luzan and Anastasia Rybychok (rowing, canoe double, 500 meters), Parviz Nasibov (wrestling, Greco-Roman, 67 kg), Iryna Kolyadenko (wrestling, freestyle, 62 kg).
Bronze: Olga Kharlan (fencing, sabre), Iryna Herashchenko (athletics, high jump), Mykhailo Kokhan (athletics, hammer throw), Jean Belenciek (wrestling, Greco-Roman, 87 kg).
