This innovation is provided for in the draft Procedure for Admission to Higher Education Institutions, which is currently under public discussion.
Prospective master’s students will have the right to submit the results of the Unified Entrance Examination (UEE) for 2024 or 2025, or retake the exam in 2026. It will also be permitted to use the scores of the Unified Professional Entrance Examination (UPEE) for 2025 or 2026.
To be eligible for competitive selection, UEE participants must exceed the “threshold score”: 5 test points for each exam, including foreign language and general academic competence. The “threshold” for the UPEE will be 35 test points.
The draft also provides that certain categories of applicants may replace the UEE or UPEE with an interview or alternative exams as part of the admission process for master’s programmes.
