Young people from Donetsk region are invited to attend a strategy school in Cherkasy: details

A three-day strategy school is being organised for active young people from Donetsk region, which will take place on 16-18 February 2026 in Cherkasy. This was reported by Vikno Vidnovlennia.

During the event, participants will be able to gain a deeper understanding of the processes of strategic planning for the development of their communities and the restoration of the region, as well as obtain practical tools for working with communities and state institutions.

The school will offer intensive training sessions, including facilitation, design thinking, and effective communication. The organisers will provide participants with accommodation and meals and will reimburse travel expenses from their place of residence to the venue and back.

The project “Strengthening the capacity of Donetsk region youth for strategic planning of regional recovery” is implemented by the non-governmental organisation “Country of Free People” as part of the “Impulse” initiative with the support of the International Renaissance Foundation and the Eastern Europe Foundation, funded by Norway (Norad) and Sweden (Sida).

Young people aged 18 to 35 can take part in the selection process by filling out the Google form at the link.
