On 11 January 2026, an atmospheric front from the Black Sea caused snowfall and gusty winds in the Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv regions. Despite the difficult weather conditions, road organisations are ensuring stable traffic on all sections of national roads, with no prolonged traffic jams reported, according to the State Agency for Infrastructure Restoration and Development of Ukraine.
Up to 10 centimetres of snow fell on the roads during the day, and the wind is causing heavy drifts.

Snow is being cleared from the carriageway and shoulders of motorways, transport interchanges and bus stops are being cleared, and roads are being treated with anti-icing materials. Additional equipment is operating on mountain passes due to light snow and low temperatures.
