In Kyiv, following a night-time mass attack on the capital, the rapid response team of the National Committee of the Ukrainian Red Cross, together with rescuers from the DSNS and other special services, worked at the sites of the attacks.
Volunteers worked at three locations, surveyed the surrounding areas and damaged buildings, and were on duty to provide first aid and psychological assistance to the victims.
The DSNS reported four deaths as a result of the shelling and 22 casualties, including five rescuers.
Residential areas of the capital were hit, with fires and damage to buildings, as well as civilian and industrial facilities in several districts of Kyiv.
