The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine has expanded the notification service in the Reserve+ mobile application. From now on, users will receive push notifications not only about changes in their military records, but also about the sending of paper summonses by post from territorial recruitment and social support centres.
The ministry explains that the new feature allows conscripts to find out in advance about the preparation or dispatch of a registered letter with a summons and to track key events related to registration. At the same time, the app does not replace official notification procedures, but only informs the user.
Previously, “Reserve+” already sent notifications about the submission or removal from the wanted list, updating of personal data and Reserve ID status, recording of violations of military registration rules, granting of deferrals or reservations. It also sent notifications about receiving an electronic referral to undergo a military medical examination.
The Ministry of Defence emphasises that receiving or viewing a push notification is not considered delivery of a summons. Only a paper document delivered in accordance with the established procedure has legal force. Users can manage notifications themselves by turning them on or off in the app settings.
The Ministry of Defence also announced that it plans to expand the functionality of “Reserve+” in the near future. In particular, the app will provide information about military registration, deregistration, removal from the register, and cancellation of deferrals.
