The Ministry of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine has announced the start of the selection of candidates for the Youth Council under the ministry. The new advisory body will bring together 33 youth representatives working in the public sector, local and regional self-government bodies, councils of internally displaced persons, as well as in key economic sectors for the Ministry of Development.

The aim is to involve young professionals and community activists in the process of shaping and implementing public policy in the areas of community development, territories, infrastructure, transport, housing and utilities, tourism, and public amenities. Candidates may only apply in one category, according to their experience and professional activity.
Candidates are nominated by means of an official request from an organization, institution, or enterprise that delegates a representative to the Youth Council. The package of documents includes the candidate’s personal data, confirmation of Ukrainian citizenship, consent to the processing of personal data, delegation documents, the organization’s founding documents, a biographical reference, and a letter of motivation. Documents are accepted in electronic form at the official address of the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development.
Applications will be accepted until 23:59 on January 28, 2026. The competition commission will consider the submitted candidates based on their experience, motivation, and potential contribution to the work of the Ministry.
The Ministry of Development notes that the Youth Council should become a permanent platform for dialogue between young people, civil society, and the state. Its members will participate in the preparation of proposals, consultations on the Ministry’s projects and decisions, and will also promote the implementation of innovative approaches in the field of public administration and territorial development.
