The State Register of National Cultural Heritage of Ukraine has been supplemented with 26 unique museum items from the state part of the Museum Fund. The relevant order of the Ministry of Culture and Strategic Communications No. 1123 was issued on 30 December 2025 based on the recommendation of the Expert and Fund Commission.

The register includes artefacts from the collections of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra National Reserve, as well as museums in the Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv regions. These are objects of exceptional historical, scientific and artistic value that represent different periods of cultural development in Ukraine.

Among the most valuable acquisitions is the Altar Gospel of 1707, printed in the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra printing house on behalf of Hetman Ivan Mazepa. The publication is an important testimony to church book printing in the early 18th century and the role of the hetman’s power in supporting cultural processes.

The register also includes the anthropomorphic stele “Kernos Idol,” dated to the 2nd millennium BC. This Bronze Age monument from the Northern Black Sea region is considered a unique archaeological object that provides insight into the worldview and ritual practices of ancient communities.

After the update, the State Register of National Cultural Heritage now includes 264 unique monuments. Inclusion in the register means official recognition of the special value of the objects and provides them with enhanced state protection.
