In Ukraine, nearly 6,300 people will be able to receive housing certificates under the eVidnovlennya programme to purchase new homes to replace those destroyed as a result of Russian aggression. This was announced by Yulia Svyrydenko.

According to her, the government has decided to allocate UAH 8.8 billion from the state budget reserve fund to finance housing compensation. During 2025, more than 67,000 families have already received compensation for damaged or destroyed housing. The total amount of payments exceeded UAH 31.5 billion.

On 1 December, a new component of the programme began operating, aimed at internally displaced persons from temporarily occupied territories. It provides for the issuance of a housing voucher with a face value of UAH 2 million, which can be used to purchase an apartment or house, invest in housing construction, or as a down payment or mortgage repayment.

In the first stage, participation in the programme is available to internally displaced persons who have combatant status or have become disabled as a result of the war. Applications are currently being accepted.

Information about damaged or destroyed housing can be submitted through administrative service centres, notaries, and the Diya app or portal.
