The Ukrainian Red Cross has opened its tenth psychosocial support centre in Chernivtsi

A new Ukrainian Red Cross Psychosocial Support Centre has opened in Chernivtsi. This is the tenth facility of its kind in Ukraine. The centre’s work is supported by the Danish Red Cross, which helped to establish the facility and its programmes.

The centre has become an open and friendly place for children and adults who need psychological support during times of crisis. Specialists work here to help people cope with stress, offering individual psychological consultations, creative classes, family activities and psychoeducational sessions aimed at developing self-help skills and emotional resilience.

Visitors can participate in recreational programmes, choose the pace and format of their participation, receive support in a safe environment, and find useful tools to improve their well-being. A video about the launch of the centre and what awaits visitors is available for public viewing.
